It is the underwear that no woman will ever want her man to see her in. These must-have tights do so much for the figure that women will want to keep them their little secret.

Hourglass Toners claim to give an instant boost to bodies of all shapes and sizes, while being comfortable enough to wear all day. According to their British makers, Aristoc, they should reduce the wearer's waistline by two inches.

Small wonder then, that they have a rapidly expanding fanbase, which already includes actresss Billie Piper, TV presenter Holly Willoughby and Ugly Betty's Ashley Jensen.  Miss Jensen, 38, recently quashed speculation she had lost weight while in Hollywood by say: "If I am looking glam, it is only because I have got underwear on from my chest to my thigh."

The tights' secret is an inch-thick elastic band sitting under the bust to ensure it remains in place.  A large compression band sewn into the waist acts as a corset, while another control panel on the hips, thighs and rear lends firm control.  The designers also say amino acids in the silk finish rub off on the skin to provide moisture.  Fashion stylist Gok Wan, from TV's How To Look Good Naked, said: "They are the perfect accessory for creating a beautiful silhouette and nobody needs know they are on.
